Virginia reviewed: Bret MichaelsRib Cook off; Heinz Field Parking Lot The show was set to begin at 5:00, and we had a perfect place to stand for the concert. After waiting several minutes, it was announced Brett Michaels would not be on stage until 7:00. We decided to leave and go eat some ribs and grab some beers, and come back. By then, the parking lot was so crowded, we wound up standing so far away. I wish we would have never left to go eat the ribs. Brett really does put on an exciting show and I could really kick myself in the butt for not staying and waiting, to keep my good place to stand! Oh well, maybe there will be another opportunity, and if there is, the ribs can wait. Ps. Happy Belated Birthday Brett! :) -

I've enjoyed listening to King for decades but last night's concert proved that at 87 he is a shadow of his former self. Who wouldn't be? This is an "appreciation" tour, with way too much filler. Let's give a hand for the mayor of Oakland, for her husband, for my granddaughter, for her husband, I love you all, do you know what we used to call a mule in Mississippi, etc. Filling the songs by swaying his shoulders like he was dancing, flirting with women in the audience. Meanwhile when he played there were times his chord choice was obviously out of key or off time .... not on the back-beat or around the beat but off time. The most awkward moment was at the end. When it was obvious he wasn't going to play longer he sat in his chair and threw gold chains and guitar picks into the audience. The band was standing around, his attendants were standing around, the crowd was standing around. Very sad to see a blues power forget how to close out and leave in an embarrassing way. -
Angel reviewed: Bret MichaelsEven though Bret preformed this last year, I remember this show as if it were only yesterday. Bret's performance was hot and amazing! When Lucky Chucky played his drums I actually felt the beat throughout my entire body. Well one of my dreams came true. I got to hear my inspiration playing live but I didn't get a chance to meet him face to face, that's dream #2 and dream #3 is to hear Poison playing live, #4 to meet Poison face to face. ;) -
Angel reviewed: Bret MichaelsI have been waiting since I saw the Poison Vid "I Want Action" on a TV show hosted by Richard Blade to see Poison in concert, hoping to meet Bret Michaels and since 2003 when he put out his solo album Songs of Life to see and hear Bret preform with his solo band BMB and it never happened 'til this date. My dh bought tix to this concert as a pre-anniversary gift I was so excited I could hardly sleep until the day of the concert. The concert was exactly as I imagined it would be. Bret was so full of energy and it radiated out into the crowd all the way up to the balcony where my dh and I were sitting. When Lucky Chucky did his drum solo I could feel the beats/rhythm throughout my entire body and even though my ears were somewhat plugged up I could hear every single word and every single note played. Bret interacted with the whole audience during and after his performance. I just wish my dh's stomach wasn't bothering him so much cause Bret didn't just throw a party during the concert but like he said during the concert he would continue the party after when he was done. I would have loved to go towards the stage and continue partying w/him. Maybe we can catch a local Poison concert so I can meet him and finish the party! ;) -
