A classically trained musician since age four, music has been front and center for as long as she can remember. Starting with violin, and followed closely by piano, clarinet, and percussion, she benefited from ongoing training and exposure, which fueled both her creativity and technical and theoretical understanding. She began composing classical music at age 10 and performed regularly for years, most notably with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra and in Disneyland with one of the country's top youth jazz ensembles.
While the demands of college and then a career in information technology dominated the time once spent performing and composing, music remained a priority focus as she kept close watch over the evolving scenes of her favorite genres. Then one evening a friend flipped open his laptop to give her a brief tour of Ableton Live, and forever changed the way she thought about and interacted with music.
Based in Chicago, she's played Chicago's renowned Wavefront Music Festival, and numerous clubs including Spybar (recently voted one of America's Top 10 Venues by Rolling Stone Magazine), Estate, American Junkie, Y Bar, Prohibit, and the Foundation Room at House of Blues. She has opened for such artists as Fedde LeGrand, Lee Foss, Martin Roth, Anthony Attalla, Clockwork (Life & Death), Benjamin Damage, and Azari & III.
Her sound is deep, complex, and melodic, with a focus on intelligent, forward-thinking dance music from across the electronic spectrum. Her dynamic and emotion-filled performances are driven by relentless curation, the vibe of the crowd, and and the task at hand -- to unite a group of strangers through the energy and positive power of music.
