Injecting Strangers is a Cincinnati-based theatrical indie rock band full of dark themes, grooves for days and guitars as thick as molasses.
They currently have their Fall 2013 EP release, "Nightmare Nancy," available online, featuring a two-part horror story ("Nightmare Nancy Pt. 1" and "Nightmare Nancy Pt. 2") and the single, "Lucky."
The band is comprised of four unique members who each pick up where the others left off. There's Dylan Oseas, the funky, raw bass player who provides the fundamental groove and low end. Chase Leonard keeps the time and holds the beat resulting in a titanic percussive force. Peter Foley, who blends 6 (or 12) nickel-wound strings together in layers of crispy clean and furious dirty to pour all over Chase and Dylan's monstrous rhythm. Then, of course, there's Richard Ringer. Richard is an unstoppable river of questionable themes and tragic irony, giving the band the sweet kiss of evil that keeps Injecting Strangers listeners on their toes.
