The legendary prog-rock band Styx got it's start in Chicago, most known for their string of hits in the 70's and 80's including "Come Sail Away", "Mr. Roboto", and "Renegade". Original singer Dennis DeYoung has since left the group, but founding member Tommy Shaw, who is the main composer of the group, has carried on the torch up to present time.
