Wild Ride rose to fame after opening for WAR (Dec. 2012) and Eric Burdon (April, 2013). The rock trio is based in Los Angeles, and is comprised of Marekman - lead guitar/singer (influenced by Keith Richards & Jimi Hendrix), drummer/singer - Kerri Berry and bass player - Charley Tichenor IV.
Wild Ride won 2013 best artist at The Red Light District radio show. They have just released their latest EP - Wild Ride - Tribute to Johnny Perez. Johnny was the late drummer for Sir Douglas Quintet, and owner of the world famous Topanga Skyline Studios.
In 2012 Wild Ride opened for Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, (Lukas is Willie Nelson's son) and toured in support of their EP, No Exit. They played over 100 shows and festivals, including tours to California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada, and various radio interviews and talk shows.
Wild Ride has played locally at many Los Angeles venues, including Universal City Walk, the Sunset Strip, The Canyon Club and many other bars, clubs, events and radio. They are grateful to their fans and friends and happy to be living their dream of playing music, traveling and meeting new and interesting people, making friends all over the world.
