zacheser is on the rise as a standout DJ/producer in Washington, D.C.'s underground. Inspired by the indie sensibility behind dance labels like DFA and Dirtybird, the theatricality of artists like Tiga and Prince, and his respect for the legacy of disco and house music, he is swiftly becoming known for his manic energy, song selection, and fascination with junk food.
During the course of his career so far, zacheser has shared bills with Claptone, Hotel Garuda, Jacques Renault, Jonas Blue, Giraffage, Throttle, Zimmer, Eau Claire, Ben Browning (of Cut Copy), Nic Fanciulli, Kap Slap, and Moullinex amongst others. In 2015, he started curating a monthly rooftop residency called '#HouseArrest' at Rock & Roll Hotel during their summer season which features budding DJs and producers in D.C.'s local underground house and disco scenes.
Most recently, his remix of Ofelia K's "Bad Boys" landed zacheser at the top of the Hype Machine charts.
In 2016, he joined One Love Massive's artist collective and made his major festival debut at Big Dub. He's focusing on releasing his first EP of original material by the end of 2016. Additionally, zacheser has been an active participant and vocal member of the body positive movement since his teenage years - oftentimes using his visibility as a DJ to promote body positivity for young men. Most recently, he's combined his love for dance music with body positivity through his #FatBeats project via social media.
