At a young age, it was quite evident of Jonathan Price Totaro's career path. At 16, you could find him daily at Scratch DJ academy in downtown Manhattan, taking in anything he could and making himself a fixture in the program. Days were spent sifting through records at local shops and nights scouring venues to hear his idols spin - A-Trak, Mark Ronson, DJ AM and Z-Trip to name a few. At 17, he was renting out lofts to give himself a proper venue to perform at. At 18, he continued his entrepreneurial spirits and founded Reason Clothing in his East Village apartment. The line has since expanded, gained international exposure and worn by some of the music industry elite including Kid Cudi, Maino, A-Trak, and the late DJ AM. Fast forward 5 years and Price, has burst onto the competitive and exclusive New York City party scene and is poised to take on the nation. His eclectic mix of music selections makes him a crowd favorite anywhere he spins, as he effortlessly blends technical skill with his encyclopedic knowledge of music of all genres. Today, Price has become a fixture at some of the world's hottest night spots and live performance venues, both across the country, where he works regularly on both coasts, as well as across the globe, including a recent trip to Tokyo, Japan. Currently a resident DJ for venues in multiple cities, their is always an opportunity to catch a DJ Price performance. Widely known as a rising talent, with a growing devoted fan base that follows him from venue to venue, DJ Price has already performed with some of the industry's elite, including hip-hop pioneer Slick Rick, DMC World Champion DJ Klever, and Grammy award winning artists, LMFAO. His name regularly appears in the media including The New York Post's Page Six column and has appeared as the featured DJ on Good Day NY.
