Trez Maschine is a 3-Piece Punkadelic band from Northern California. The band's sound is most often compared to Primus, Quueens of the Stone Age, Mr.Bungle, Faith No more and Fishbone. Trez Maschine is fronted by two singer songwriters, Guitarist / Vocalist Gorden Mack and Bassist / Vocalist / Brian Kenney with Kyle Malone on Drums. Each musician offering offering up their 25+ years of experience on their isntrument(s).
Veteran guitarist / vocalist Gorden Mack, first gained fame on 4AD records with the Band Red House Painters. During his tenmure as lead guitarist, Red House Painters released 5 albums with multiple tours across Europe and the USA and had thjeir songs featured in films "Vanilla Sky", Excess Baggage" and " The Girl Next Door". The band is often considered one of the most influential alt roock bands of the Nineties.
Gorden's unique style of playing is enhanced by his careful application of effects combined with paralleled guitar-synth tones for a larger than life sound. His vocals, reminiscent of Pete Townsend at times, climb from melodic valleys to raspy peaks, adding more dynamics to Trez Maschine's sound.
Brian Kenney is an aggressive "Lead" bassist that mixes tapping, flamenco-like strumming, whammy bar bends, and slapping with clean tones deep distortions, delays and flangers to build a wall of sound that punches you in the gut. Brian Kenney and Kyle Malone made their mark in the Punk scene, sharing stages with the likes Skanking Pickle, NOFX and Suicidal Tendencies. Brian playing with Backward Mask, Adverse Side-FX and Degenerate Elite while Kyle branched off into psychobilly with Ghost Town Hangmen and hard rock with the band Five Against One.
Trez Maschine has been laying together for the last 3 years, developing two solid sets of music. The band is currently seeking their ideal producer for their first album while playing shows across Northern California.
