The story of Eye on Attraction began on New Years Day 2010 as the trio consisting of Andrew Merkle (drums/lyrics), Joe Terry (bass/guitar), and Mike Trischetta (guitar/bass). They were immediately known for their on-stage energy, stylistic versatility, and technical mastery of their instruments.
Struggling to find a permanent vocalist, the group went through numerous lineup changes throughout their first two years before finding their fifth and permanent singer, Zack Graham.
The band's turbulent beginnings gave them time to develop musically and hone in on their sound. Pulling influences from bands like Coheed and Cambria, Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Dave Matthews Band , they learned to create a unique blend of progressive instrumentation coupled with catchy hooks and vocals. On-stage, they refuse to be a "human CD" by simply playing their music; instead they insist on building up the energy until if floods over the audience, making live shows a truly unforgettable experience.
