Jackyl @ Watseka Theatre Watseka, Illinois Saturday November 22, 2014 Back by popular demand! It's been nearly 20 years since Jackyl shot out of Georgia with its wild, untamed and uncouth approach to rock 'n' roll. Equal parts hard rock, heavy metal and Southern rock, Jackyl formed in 1991 and brought back rock 'n' roll back -- back to its down-to-earth, wild, fun-loving origins. Full of spit and swagger -- and a "dirty" sense of humor to boot -- Jackyl quickly earned a deal with Geffen Records. Jackyl's live shows were already legendary before the ink dried on the Geffen contract. Hear and see the outragous Jackyl show with all the Million Selling hit songs including "The Lumberjack". Watseka Theatre is a beautiful 1931 art deco 375 seat theatre. Located 92 miles south of Chicago. All Ages. It features a great restaurant and full bar. Doors Open 5:30pm, Showtime 7pm. Tickets are on sale at the theatre, by phone 815 993 2880 or www.watsekatheatre.com

Multi-platinum selling Jackyl has long since validated itself as America's Rock Band headline Watseka Theatre Watseka Illinois on Saturday July 28, 2012. Specialists in down and dirty blue-collar rock and roll, Jackyl has delivered "When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide" that sounds exactly like Jackyl, except that it's one notch louder. "This album is a crunchy slab of rock and roll with a mouthful of Georgia Dirt," Dupree explains. "We're looking forward to hitting the road this year and taking these tunes to the stage." Jackyl's legacy of its wild, untamed and uncouth approach to rock 'n' roll is well established. The band hit the scene and immediately began firing off rock radio hits like "Down On Me," "When Will It Rain," "I Stand Alone," and most notably, "The Lumberjack" during which Dupree performs a chain-saw solo. The introduction of Jackyl's fifth instrument on album and in concert quickly became one of the band's many trademarks as the group blazed a path to infamy, sharing the stage with Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and d*mn Yankees and working with industry heavyweights such as John Kalodner. AC/DC's Brian Johnson would go on to lend his vocals to the track "Locked And Loaded" which still stands as his only contribution outside of AC/DC recordings. The band has earned two Guinness Book of World Records citations and the designation "The Hardest Working Band in Rock 'N' Roll" for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours. Watseka Theatre is a beautiful 1931 art deco 375 seat theatre located 92 miles south of Chicago. It features a great restaurant and full bar. Doors open 5:30pm, Showtime 7:00pm. Tickets $55.,$45.,$35. are on sale at the theatre, by phone (815) 993-6585 or on line www.watsekatheatre.com
