Dusk Music Festival Biography
Dusk Music Festival is the congregation of music, art and culinary delight in the fields of the historic Rillito Park at the base of the Catalina Mountains. Created by local entrepreneurs and U of A grads Page Repp, John Rallis, and Steve Stratigoulias in conjunction with proud new business Illegal Pete's, Dusk Music Festival was dreamed up to elevate the already burgeoning city of Tucson by bringing forth internationally-acclaimed Tucson talent with awe-inspiring performers from around the globe.
Taking place over one day, October 22, 2016, Dusk is an immersive all day celebration featuring Arizona performers such as indie rock giants Calexico, Latin folk/soul powerhouse Gaby Moreno and Phoenix resident via crash landing from outer space, the cosmic pop star Luna Aura. But it's also Tucson's giant leap into the national stratosphere with heavy hitters in the genres of indie rock, hip hop and EDM such as Matt and Kim, RL Grime, Danny Brown, A-Trak, DJ Mustard and Wild Belle.
Festival goers can enchant all five senses with food and drink from Tucson's best restaurants and breweries, art installations from dozens of local artisans, a carefully-curated selection of local vendors, and carnival games and attractions, all under the expansive Arizona sky. And if that's not enough, Dusk Music Festival is proud to support several Tucson charities. Bring the entire family; we'll see you at Dusk.
