Action Bronson Biography

Action Bronson (born December 2, 1984) is an Albanian-American rapper. His stage name derives from gangster William "Action" Jackson, and tough-guy actor Charles Bronson. Action was born and raised in Flushing, Queens. Action Bronson is of Albanian and Jewish descent. Before entering the rap scene he was a respected fire-flame gourmet chef in New York City, and frequently raps about food in his songs. He hosts his own online cooking show entitled "Action in the Kitchen". He has gained notoriety for lyrically and stylistically resembling rapper Ghostface Killah (with whom he collaborated, along with friend and fellow rapper Termanology, on a song called "Meteor Hammer" from the 2011 compilation album Legendary Weapons).

He released his debut studio album Dr. Lecter in 2011. Action Bronson is an atheist, which he revealed in the song "Not Enough Words", from Action Bronson's collaboration album with Statik Selektah, Well Done.
