Elvis Depressedly Biography

Elvis Depressedly is an American indie band from Asheville, North Carolina. The band was formed by Coma Cinema frontman Mat Cothran.

Elvis Depressedly formed in 2011. The band has released four records, Save The Planet Kill Yourself, Mickey's Dead, Holo Pleasures via Birdtapes and New Alhambra. Their first extended play, titled Goner, was released in 2011. Their second studio album, titled Mickey's Dead, was released in 2013 via Orchid Tapes. The album was named one of the best free albums of 2012 by The Social. The band was also named one of "Ten Sad Alt-Bro Bands That Should Play At Bon Iver's Music Festival" by PAPER Magazine. In November of 2014, the band signed to Run For Cover Records. In 2015, the band released their fourth studio album, titled New Alhambra. They went on a short tour following the release of New Alhambra.
