Andy Brasher is a songwriter from Kentucky. His earliest musical influences were his grandfather, his father and uncles. After learning to play the acoustic guitar, crafting songs was second nature. Andy reunited with a songwriting partner from the Nashville days, Dustin Bogue. The two had worked together some while Andy was still located in Nashville, but now, by making frequent road trips and three day songwriting sabbaticals, Andy and Dustin were starting to pump out great new material very quickly. In 2015, Andy refocused on a solo career, taking some time off from Brasher/Bogue and putting together a new incarnation of the Andy Brasher Band to play favorites from the Brasher/Bogue catalog as well as old and new Andy Brasher songs across the country.
Andy Brasher still performs regularly at home in Owensboro, KY at a weekly Open Mic series he created in 2006. There, he encourages aspiring songwriters and performers to hone their craft in front of a live audience and shares his new material as well.
Andy's songs have been featured in film and media productions. Andy's songs can also be heard on terrestrial, satellite and internet radio stations all across the US.
With Brasher/Bogue and solo, Andy has performed concerts in supportive of many national acts including, Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band and more...
