Gucci Mane Biography
Radric Davis (born February 2, 1980) better known by his stage name Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and CEO of So Icey Entertainment.
In 2005, he released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. However, disputes over the rights to this single eventually caused a rift between the two artists. Hard to Kill followed in 2006.
Gucci Mane was propelled to mainstream success with the release of Back to the Trap House in 2007, which sold 32,000 copies in its first week. The album was fueled by the hit single "Freaky Gurl" which peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks, #19 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and at #62 on the Billboard Hot 100.
After ending another prison term, Gucci Mane began working on a mixtape called Writing on the Wall and "Guccitendo". A new official mixtape "Guccimania" has some of his new 2009 singles featured on the mixtape. Gucci Mane is signed to Warner Bros. Records.
Recently, he has appeared on remixes of the Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow" and Mariah Carey's "Obsessed". He also makes a guest appearance on Mario's "Break Up". He will be releasing his upcoming label debut album (currently untitled) tentatively slated for fall 2009, with the first single being, "Wasted" featuring Plies which was originally from his 2009 mixtape Writing on the Wall. The single is so far Gucci Mane's best single to date peaking at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100, also at #4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and #5 on the Hot Rap Tracks

Daniel Dewan Sewell (born March 16, 1981), better known by his stage name Danny Brown, is an American hip hop recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. He is known for his individuality, being described by MTV as "one of rap's most unique figures in recent memory." In 2010, after amassing several mixtapes, Brown released his debut album The Hybrid. Brown began to gain major recognition after the release of his second album XXX (2011), which received critical acclaim and earned him such accolades as Spin's "#1 hip hop album of the year" as well as Metro Times' "Artist of the Year". In 2013, he released his third album Old, which reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200 chart and spawned three singles, "Dip", "25 Bucks" and "Smokin & Drinkin".
Biography
1981–2009: Early life and career beginnings
Danny Brown was born Daniel Dewan Sewell on March 16, 1981 in Detroit, Michigan. When he was born, his mother was 17 and his father, who is half Filipino, was 16. Brown's talent for rhyming came at a very young age as his mother would read Dr. Seuss books to him as a child. So when he started to speak, he would talk in rhyme. His father was a house DJ who exposed Danny to all the music he would spin as well as music from the likes of Roy Ayers, LL Cool J, and A Tribe Called Quest. Danny Brown had always wanted to be a rapper, for as long as he could remember: "In kindergarten I'd say I wanted to be a rapper and people'd just laugh at me. 'That's a pretty funny job,' they'd say."
His young parents did their best to shelter him from the Detroit street crime and gang life: "My parents ain't really want me out the house. They did as much as they possibly could to keep me in the house with whatever the newest video game was. But you know you can only keep a kid in for so long. Plus that had me sheltered, so once I did get away I used to disappear for like four days." His two grandmothers helped provide for his family. His mom's mother worked for Chrysler, she bought four to five houses. "To this day we still got those houses. She owns three houses in a row on that block. She raised her three children and a host of others in the middle house; the one to the left she paid cash for in the 90's from her long time neighbor; and the one on the right was her parents home that she inherited when they died. She also owned two other homes on the east side of Detroit one in which Danny Brown and his family was raised. The fifth house also located on the east side was occupied by his aunt and her family. "On the East Side, I used to get beat up all the time. [Laughs.] I had nobody over there and I'm the oldest with two brothers and a younger sister. And I'm kind of not really gangster like that. [Laughs.]", said Brown in a 2012 interview. While originally from the Dexter-Linwood way of Detroit, Brown later moved into the Hamtramck. He heavily associates with Detroit in his music.
At age 18, Brown became a drug dealer: "Once I got above a certain age, all that parent shit stopped. My mom and my pops split up. Once my pops left, I was the man of the house. I always told myself I was going to be a rapper my whole life. I was selling drugs since that's what all my friends were doing. And it was kind of like something to rap about maybe. Although his intentions were to stop once he got in trouble with the law, Brown was already too accustomed to the lifestyle: "I always told myself once I got my first case I was gonna stop. Then I got my first case, but I didn't stop. I got distribution and manufacturing and possession with intent to distribute. I was 19 [at the time]." His run-ins with the law didn't stop there either: "I caught my second case loitering with some weed, but it violated my probation but I ran and I didn't go to court. I just ran for like at least 5 years. But once I got caught I had to do 8 months. When I violated my probation, I got my second case and I was scared. I had warrants so I couldn't really slang like that cause I didn't wanna go to jail. I was broke in the hood. I had nothing else, so I just started going back to studying music and trying to become a rapper. After he did his time, Brown began to take his passion seriously and turn it into a career: "I got out of jail in '07. I took it serious from that time but it took a lot of shit to happen in my life to get me confident to know I could do it. I had more confidence when I got out of jail because the day when I got out of jail I started selling weed. I ain't had no money after the first two months, like, 'I was way better off in jail.' By then I was already making my New York trips and going to recording studios so I was already serious when I got locked up. When I got out it was like, 'It's now or never.'"
Brown began his career in a hip hop group called Rese'vor Dogs, alongside fellow Detroit-based rappers Chip$ and Dopehead. In 2003, the trio released an independent album titled Runispokets-N-Dumpemindariva, under Ren-A-Sance Entertainment and F.B.C. Records. In the summer of 2003, the group received mild rotation on Detroit radio stations with their lead single, "Yes". After growing up on hip hop and tuning his rhyming skills in the city, Brown landed the attention of a Roc-A-Fella Records A&R Travis Cummings, where Brown was soon in New York recording in other artist's studios. After the lack of success with the Roc-A-Fella situation, Danny Brown returned to Detroit and eventually linked up with producer Nick Speed.
2010: The Hybrid
In 2010, Brown befriended fellow American rapper, Tony Yayo of G-Unit, and together they recorded their collaborative effort Hawaiian Snow (2010). The G-Unit association led many to wonder if Brown would eventually sign with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records. But Brown, who favors fitted jeans and a vintage rock-inspired wardrobe, didn't fit with G-Unit's image: "It was a real thing. 50 was with it; he just didn't sign me because of my jeans. He liked the music, but he didn't like the way I looked," Brown told MTV. "I understand where they were coming from with that, but you gotta understand where I'm coming from too: I'm from Detroit."
After recording and releasing four volumes of his Detroit State of Mind mixtape series and other free self-released mixtapes, Brown released his first solo independent studio album, The Hybrid (2010), on Washington, DC record label, Rappers I Know. It was this album where Brown began to use his trademark high-pitched voice: "The first song that I ever rapped [with the high-pitched voice] was 'The Hybrid,' that's why we called it 'The Hybrid.' I think that was [when I found my voice]. That was the statement that I can rap and I can do every style of rap." The album came to fruition after he had written the aforementioned song: "The Hybrid started out because I started working with Hex Murder. Hex was managing me at the time and I had started recording in Black Milk's studio. We were working on a project and I had came up with the song 'The Hybrid,' so that gave me my whole intent on what I wanted to do with my next project. I started writing a new album and that's the album that I wrote. Then I hooked up with my homie Magnetic and he would just look out for me and gave me free studio time—so I would go record from 3 in the morning til 6 in the morning, because we were using the free time when nobody was there. Then I hooked up with Frank from Rappers I Know. I liked what he was doing with his blog. He looked out for me and helped me out a lot and then we put it out and the rest is history."
In 2010, Brown also signed to Brooklyn-based independent record label Fool's Gold Records: "My manager [Emeka Obi] asked me who I wanted to sign to and I said there's two labels I want to sign to: XL or Fool's Gold. He knew [people at] Fool's Gold. He saw Nick Catchdubs in a burrito spot, asked him about it, and Nick said he'd get back to him. Q-Tip and A-Trak went and ate lunch around last March. A-Trak told Q-Tip he was thinking about signing me and Q-Tip told him to do it. A-Trak called me and signed me. I met Q-Tip but I know Ali Shaheed more. Ali Shaheed is kind of like a mentor to me. Around the time of The Hybrid, I met him through Frank from Rappers I Know and he just started showing me love. We talk on the phone a lot."
2011–2012: XXX
Brown made his biggest commercial and critical move to date in 2011, when he signed to Fool's Gold Records, where he released his album XXX, as a free download. It received numerous critical accolades, including being named the best hip hop album of the year by Spin. Pitchfork gave his album an 8.2 out of 10, stating "If XXX was nothing but debauchery and desperation, it would quickly devolve into an endless slog. Thankfully, Brown is also hilariously funny, an endlessly inventive rapper driven to cook up outrageous variations on standard rap boasts." The publication later went on to name XXX the 19th best album of 2011. XXX was also named the 6th best album of 2011 by Passion of the Weiss, calling the album "an uncomfortably honest self-portrait made even more remarkable by the fact that Danny Brown is alive to tell the story."
On November 1, 2011 Brown released his collaborative effort with American record producer Black Milk; an extended play appropriately titled Black and Brown!. On November 28, 2011 Brown released the music video for the XXX-cut, "Blunt After Blunt". The video was directed by fellow American rapper ASAP Rocky, who also made a cameo appearance. In the wake of his success with XXX, Brown began touring with Childish Gambino in March, 2012. On March 13, 2012 Brown released the visual treatment for the brandUn DeShay-produced track, "Radio Song", from XXX. The video was directed by Alex/2tone.
In 2012, Brown was featured on the cover of XXL, as part of their annual "Top 10 Freshmen list" along with fellow rappers Hopsin, French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly, Iggy Azalea and Roscoe Dash, among others. It was announced in February 2012, that for their Spring Style issue, FADER enlisted both Kendrick Lamar and Danny Brown to cover the front pages. In an interview singer Jennifer Herrema revealed that Danny Brown will be featured on the second album by The Avalanches. Later in the year Brown confirmed that he was working with The Avalanches on a song called "Frank Sinatra" On Brown's official website, he confirmed that he would be performing at the 13th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos. Brown signed a partnership deal with Adidas Originals, which is Brown's latest sportswear.
2012-present: Old
In February 2012, Danny Brown was featured first on the cover of the publication The FADER, in its 78th issue. On March 22, 2012 Brown teamed up with Scion A/V to release a new song titled "Grown Up". The music video for "Grown Up", later released on August 20, was also presented by Scion A/V. In August 2012, it was rumored that Brown was working on a new album entitled Danny Johnson, to be entirely produced by Johnson&Jonson (Blu and Mainframe), however Brown later denied these rumors and confirmed that the album had already been released for free in 2010, under the title It's a Art. In August, Brown also performed at the 13th annual Gathering of the Juggalos. In September, Brown teamed up with Scion A/V once again to release the debut project of his rap group Bruiser Brigade (a hip hop collective featuring Brown, Chip$, Dopehead, Trpl Blk, Zelooperz and in-house producer SKYWLKR). The project was a four track extended play (EP) eponymously titled Bruiser Brigade.
In October 2012, Brown was featured on the soundtrack to the film The Man with the Iron Fists, on a track titled "Tick, Tock", alongside fellow American rappers Raekwon, Joell Ortiz and Pusha T. On October 24, 2012 Brown released the music video for a song titled "Witit", taken from the deluxe edition of XXX and his OD EP; later that day after Complex kept referring to his next album as Danny Johnson, Brown took to Twitter to reveal the correct tentative title to be ODB. From September to November, Brown appeared alongside Schoolboy Q and ASAP Mob as supporting acts for ASAP Rocky's 40-date national Long. Live. ASAP Tour.
In December 2012, Brown announced ODB had been completed. He explained that the album won't be as consistently humorous as XXX, but said that people will be surprised with the outcome: "The new album is done. We're pretty much just figuring out a way of presenting the right way to get released...the title of the album for now is ODB. I can't really elaborate on what that means until the album comes out, and then they'll get it. I don't want to give too much because then it'll be a much more rewarding listen for my fans." He continued, "It's a rewarding listen when I listen to it. I don't know if I laugh as much - I think I laugh when it's over with, and that's the difference between this album and XXX. With XXX, you laugh throughout it, and by the time it was over with, you were like, 'Oh that wasn't too funny.' This one, when it's over, you're laughing hysterically...it's not necessarily what's being said on the album, but the album [itself], like, 'I can't believe he made this.'" Rolling Stone magazine named Brown's single "Grown Up", the 41st best song of 2012.
On December 17, 2012, in an interview with Pitchfork, Brown revealed the album would actually be titled Old. The album, set to be released under Fool's Gold, will be released to music retailers unlike any of his previous releases. Brown said it's about "75% done" and in the mixing stages. The album was announced to include contributions from ASAP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Kitty and Purity Ring, the latter of whom are contributing production, along with a hook from vocalist Megan James.
In January 2013 it was announced that Brown would be performing at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. In the summer of 2012, someone alerted the proudly D-list celebrity Kathy Griffin to a YouTube video. In a joint interview with Noisey, Danny Brown and ASAP Rocky—two rappers she wasn't familiar with—had agreed that they'd like to have sex with her. Griffin, never one to turn down an opportunity for weirdness, invited them both to appear on the Valentine's Day episode of her talk show Kathy. On February 14, Brown appeared alongside ASAP Rocky and Russell Brand, on Griffin's late-night talk show where they played a dice game called "Suck breast? Kiss stomach?" and discussed the possibility of having children.
On March 1, 2013 Brown and American record producer Baauer, announced their upcoming "Worst of Both Worlds" Tour. For the trek, the Fool's Gold signees started off in Houston, Texas on April 9 at Fitzgerald's. The brief trek, which only hit the West Coast, made stops in Austin, Texas, Tucson, Arizona and San Francisco, California. They played both weekends of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, wrapping up the tour on the second weekend (April 20). On March 8, Brown announced another tour in promotion for his upcoming album, the "Old & Reckless" Tour, featuring American female rapper Kitty, accompanying him. For his first-ever headlining tour, Brown began at SXSW on March 15, with a pair of shows. After completing his "Worst of Both Worlds" trek with Baauer, he was joined by Kitty for stops in St. Louis, Missouri, Ann Arbor, Michigan, New York City, New York and Madison, Wisconsin. The tour concluded at Indianapolis, Indiana's Deluxe on May 14. In March, Brown also won his first award ever at the 2013 Woodie Awards, winning in the category "Best Video", for his work "Grown Up".
On March 18, 2013, Brown revealed in a Twitter post that Old would be released around the time XXX came out, which was mid August. On March 23, it was announced Brown signed a management deal with Goliath Artists, which also houses names such as Eminem, The Alchemist, Blink-182 and most recently Action Bronson, who has previously collaborated with Brown. On May 3, Brown announced through Twitter that Old would feature guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Schoolboy Q, Mr. MFN eXquire, Scrufizzer, A$AP Rocky, Ab-Soul, Charli XCX and Purity Ring. He also revealed the production on the album was handled by Paul White, Oh No, Rustie, Skywlkr, A-Trak, Darq E Freaker and Frank Dukes. After an unfinished version previously leaked earlier in the year, Brown visited Tim Westwood on BBC Radio 1xtra in June 2013, to premiere the official version of "Kush Coma", a song featuring ASAP Rocky, taken from the Old album. On July 23, Brown was featured rapping alongside Insane Clown Posse, in the music video for their song "When I'm Clownin'".
On August 12, via Twitter Brown expressed feeling less than a priority at Fool's Gold Records: "Man #OLD fuck around and never come out ... Smh," tweeted Brown, referring to his forthcoming album, Old. Brown then threatened to leak the album himself: "I'm a fuck around and leak that shit myself if niggas don't get it together." Subsequently, Fool's Gold Records founder A-Trak, announced that Old is indeed in the label pipeline, with a music video on the way. On August 26, 2013, via Twitter Danny Brown announced Old would be released on September 30, 2013. Old debuted at number 17 on the US Billboard 200, selling 15,000 copies in its first week of release.
On October 3, 2013, Danny Brown and A-Trak announced their 'Double Trouble' Tour. In November 2013, Brown was featured in the interactive music video for American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan's 1965 hit single "Like a Rolling Stone". In January 2014, Brown guest starred in the Fox animated TV series Lucas Bros. Moving Co., voicing a character named Jumanji, in the season one episode "A/C Tundra". Danny Brown's song "Witit", was also featured in the episode. On January 22, 2014, Danny Brown made his network television debut with a special performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Joined by Purity Ring's vocalist Megan James, Brown performed "25 Bucks", off his critically acclaimed album, Old.
On March 21, 2014, it was announced that Hot Soup, one of Brown's early mixtapes, would be re-released as a double LP and 7" with 7 bonus tracks for Record Store Day. It will also be released on CD, with a bonus disc of instrumentals. Along with Hot Soup, Brown will also release Old as a double LP and a box set. On March 25, 2014, Brown appeared The Arsenio Hall Show, where he promoted his third album Old and performed the single "Dip", from said album.
On July 10, 2014, Danny Brown opened for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, in front of 37,500 people in Marlay Park, Dublin. On July 11 and 12, Brown opened in front of 100,000 fans for Eminem's sold out concert at Wembley Stadium in London, England. In November 2014, Brown appeared on the song "Detroit vs. Everybody", alongside Eminem, Trick-Trick and Big Sean, from the Shady Records compilation album, Shady XV.

Hot Since 82 Biography
Daley Padley, also known as Hot Since 82 is a British DJ and house music producer currently based in Leeds, UK. He has been releasing music under the Hot Since 82 moniker since 2012. His music has been rapidly gaining in popularity, with Mixmag Magazine describing his progression in the house scene as "meteoric."
Personal life
Padley grew up with three brothers and one sister, whose eclectic tastes in music he cites as inspiration for his diverse, difficult to categorise sound. His father refurbished old Volkswagen Beetles, often installing them with high-power sound systems, which Padley and his brother used to nurture their love for loud, bass-heavy music early on.
Padley entered the electronic music scene at a young age, beginning to frequent area nightclubs at the age of 14. His formal DJ education started at 17, playing 12–13-hour sets each Sunday at a club in his hometown (under his birth name). His residency soon became a top afterparty destination for clubbers in the area. As word got around, Padley's notoriety increased, resulting in a 2006 residency at Cream Ibiza in Amnesia under the banner of Leeds club Glasshouse.
Padley is a self-avowed romantic, and lover of romantic comedies.
Becoming Hot Since 82
In 2010, Padley was attending an Ibiza afterparty when the music suddenly cut out. He plugged his iPhone into the party's speakers, and incidentally, one of his works-in-progress came on. Though Padley had admittedly not made the track with the intent of releasing it, reactions at the party were roundly positive, causing him to contact his friend Danish DJ/Producer Noir, who runs the record label Noir Recordings. Noir was impressed, and released it on his label. 'Let It Ride' came out on Noir Music on 5 September 2011, hitting number three on Beatport's deep house chart. Thus, Hot Since 82 was born.
Career
Rising out of relative obscurity, Padley has recently been featured in a variety of widely popular electronic music media. After a year of releasing his music, Padley was featured on Pete Tong's authoritative Essential Mix show on BBC Radio 1 in August 2013, playing a 2-hour exclusive set.
Soon after, Padley was commissioned for a remix of electronic music pioneer Green Velvet aka Curtis Jones' song 'Bigger than Prince.' The track was released in September 2013, and rose to the Number 1 position on Beatport's dance music charts.
He released his first full-length album, Little Black Book, in October 2013 on Moda Black Records, featuring collaborations with Joe T Vannelli and Thomas Gandey, as well as remixes of Rudimental and Shadow Child.
Padley launched his own imprint, Knee Deep in Sound, in 2014, on which he hopes to release music from up-and-coming artists with an underground "vinyl" sound.
Electronic music website Dancing Astronaut ranked Hot Since 82 at No. 7 on their list of Top 25 Techno & Deep House Producers of 2013.
In April 2014, Hot Since 82 was featured as Mixmag's cover story, with a recent mix of his featured as the magazine's 'cover mix.'
Padley has toured extensively in Europe and North America and has headlined many of the world's leading electronic music festivals, including Creamfields and WMC.

Green Velvet Biography
Change has been a constant theme throughout the successful career of Green Velvet, but as he has crossed genres, explored themes from the comedic to the serious and changed monikers, the common thread running through the music he has made for nearly two decades is its roots in and dedication to the Chicago House sound.
His first transformation came when he left master's degree studies in chemical engineering at UC-Berkeley to turn a hobby into a career making music, influenced by the sounds he had been exposed to as a science-fiction-loving, video-game-playing kid whose father was a part-time Chicago DJ.
As Cajmere, he released his inaugural Underground Goodies EP in 1991 on his Cajual label, keeping true to the early House sound. He quickly followed it up the next year with the smash hit "Coffeepot (It's Time for the Percolator)."
Not one to rest on his success, he soon changed things up, teaming with vocalist Dajae for "Brighter Days," a more mellow House tune, this one released by Emotive. That pairing would be his last with a female vocalist until his recent partnership with rapper Kid Sister for "Everybody Wants."
The 17 years in between those two projects witnessed an incredible array of electronic music emanating from this prolific artist, as well as a second label under his direction, Relief. Adopting the persona Green Velvet (not to mention a Day-Glo shock wig) for his techno-oriented pieces and DJ appearances, he became the champion of new wave Chicago beats through the '90s—known best for hits such as "Preacher Man," "Flash" (a No. 1 U.S. dance hit in 1995), and 1997's laugh-inducing "Answering Machine." The decade ended with his first album, Constant Chaos in 1999.
The new century brought a compilation album, Green Velvet, during a brief signing with Warner Bros. Records' short-lived F-111 imprint, and a production album, Whatever, on Relief. The punk-inspired Whatever explored darker themes than his previous work, including racism ("When?"), drug use ("Genedefekt" and "La La Land"), alienation ("Sleepwalking") and bending to authority ("Gat").
"La La Land" went on to become by far the biggest selling track of his career. His live act expanded as he began playing a keytar, with two other musicians—Nazuk and Spaceboy—backing him, playing heavily distorted synths.
The last decade also saw Green Velvet become a fan favorite across Europe, playing to huge crowds at festivals in addition to live radio appearances and club gigs. Numerous side projects and remixes under various names also added to his seemingly nonstop musical output.
In 2005, Green Velvet released his third album, Walk In Love, which stayed true to the House sound, with a few pop- and punk-oriented tracks for good measure, including "Come Back" and "Pin-Up Girl," both of which featured a live guitarist.
The following year marked a significant change in his personal life, as Green Velvet revealed he had become a born-again Christian after an overdose of so-called recreational drugs. His music since then has reflected his conversion and new attitude on life, including the single "Shake and Pop," and 2007's online-only track "Love Peace, Not War," a short ditty in response to the war in Iraq.

Claude VonStroke does not scowl and look mean while he DJs. He does not pretend to know everything and he will be nice to you and your friends. The name "Claude VonStroke" was a random joke that caught on after a series of tracks grabbed the attention of underground dance music in 2005. His very first record, "Deep Throat," was an unusually quirky affair that caught fire worldwide and he has been blessed with similar success stories ever since. Claude's real name is Barclay Crenshaw, a guy raised in the suburbs Detroit who wanted to be a filmmaker but always had a knack for music. After several different film careers of varying success and with some help from his friends, VonStroke started the "dirtybird" label at the very late age of 32.
Since 2005, dirtybird has carved out a niche as a premiere American label and has released over 40 EPs. VonStroke has released two artist albums as well as a Fabric mix and over 25 remixes for a wide range of commercial and underground artists from Indy rock group "The Rapture" to Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson.
In an effort to give something back to the community VonStroke unveiled a new label "mothership" in 2007. A large percentage of the label's proceeds go to a music school for children in Claude's hometown of Detroit, Michigan. This label features more euro-flavored techno and house featuring groups like Catz 'n Dogz, Maetrik and Voodeux.
Tour wise, Claude has headlined almost every major club, festival and basement after-party in the world. The outdoor dirtybird parties in San Francisco's scenic Golden Gate Park have also become a legendary summer destination point for both locals and international travelers.

DJ Tennis Biography
DJ Tennis born in the 70's and raised between New Jersey, Sicily and Parma in a family who paid just a passing attention to music. No relatives played any musical instruments, nor were there any around the home - music was never given any special amount of love in the Romano household. But despite this, and perhaps as a direct result of this, Romano's creative and artistic attitude has always centred around music: singing, creating and collecting weird and noisy musical instruments at every turn.
In 1988 before embarking on computer science studies he was already playing and singing in college bands and had an indie rock radio show on a local radio station in Palermo.
Recording with bands, organising events and DJing at the local tennis club where he used to play semi-professionally (his DJ moniker comes from his passion for the sport) became his way to support the costs of his studies, though when he graduated he never imagined he would turn that hobby into his fully-fledged career. Whilst starting out as a DJ he began focusing on promoting new underground music in his country, founding and developing some of the most important Italian underground musical events such as the Elita festival in Milan and the Dissonanze festival in Rome - at the same time creating forward-thinking new promotional concepts around the Italian clubbing scene.
In the early 90s Romano also started producing music for theatre, movie soundtracks and TV commercials, his production skills always taking inspiration from the psychedelic, dark and melancholic sounds of the 60's, thru to early 2000's IDM. The range of influences paint a picture of his musical worldview: The Beach Boys, The Who, Talk Talk, Ultravox, XTC, Fugazi, June of 44, Suicide, Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Plastikman – into every musical project he poured elements, sounds & feelings from all of these artists and many more.
In 2010, after growing tired of the the more overtly generic output of the contemporary scene he decided to collect all of his musical works and, along with Thugfucker's Greg Oreck, started a new techno and pop label called Life and Death. The name of the label has a specific meaning, inspired by the socratic method of the maieutic process to turn 'dead' elements into a new life, and referring to the hypnotic power of music used in the mesmeric processes for brain therapy. Life And Death was alive.
Romano bases himself in Berlin where he also shares the label experience and a studio with the innovative deep electronic duo Tale of Us, whilst he working hard to create a crew of young and inspired musicians like Clockwork and Esperanza, amongst others. On top of all of this he still maintains his main job is still being a Promoter and a Booking agent in 2012. He may go by the name Tennis but he continues to be a hugely talented all-rounder.
Soul Clap Biography
Soul Clap is an American DJ and production duo from Boston, Massachusetts. Active in the club scene since 2001, the group has released a number of mixtapes, EPs, singles, and albums. In 2012 they released their first full-length album, EFUNK. According to XLR8R, Soul Clap "[tempt] the listener into the darker, more abstract corners of house (and its relative offshoots) by dressing them up with smooth, jazzy trimmings."[1] The BBC wrote "they blend neon-splattered nostalgia with a crisp futurism thanks to their experimental production techniques."

Seth Troxler Biography
In accordance with Mayan prophecy, Seth Troxler was, in fact, a gift to the world of techno by intergalactic demigods from the distant future. Rumours that Seth Troxler is actually an alien are untrue; in the early first century these demigods kidnapped the virile first-born child of a Roman centurion and his Egyptian trophy wife. After years of travelling around the western end of the Milky Way studying linear algebra, Byronic verse, city planning, and the essentials of electronic music composition, these demigods lost young Seth to the Old God Horus in a game of trans-dimensional backgammon. Before Horus could consume his soul, disguised as Freemasons, they managed steal the young Seth back, and fearing the wrath of Horus, hid him in the Mid-Western town of Kalamazoo where he was raised by a kindly Amish family.
Since then Seth has gone on to ignite the world of house and techno with a constant barrage of sultry vocal jams, in consecutive years got himself voted Number Three, Two and the number One in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJ Poll, landed much-vaunted residencies at DC10 (Ibiza), Trouw in (Amsterdam) and Output (New York) and opened series of much-lauded pop-up restaurants around East London called 'Smokey Tails'. He has played many stellar international gigs, notably fabric (London), Panorama Bar (Berlin), Output (New York), Warung (Brazil), Womb (Tokyo), Tenax (Florence), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), The Rex (Paris), Fuse (Brussels), The Electric Pickle (Miami), plus The Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Glastonbury, Coachella, Sonar and Burning Man. In the studio he has collaborated with such dance luminaries as Matthew Dear, Art Department, Tiefschwarz, Deetron, Subb-an, in addition to groundbreaking remix work done as Visionquest alongside fellow astral refugees Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss, remixing artists like Tracy Thorn and David Lynch. 2014 has seen him team up with The Martinez Brother to launch their new Tuskegee label drawing attention on Afro-Latino American icons. Art Department is the brainchild of Canadian techno/house Legend Kenny Glasgow and Canada's fastest rising star and No.19 label owner - Jonny White. As individuals both Kenny and Jonny have released countless critically acclaimed records and are regarded internationally as two of the most forward thinking, relevant underground producers out of North America. Kenny's credentials date back to the late 80's and include productions on Narcotic, Jinxx, his own Method 11/11 label and Turbo. Whilst White's revered No.19 Music label along side a blindingly fast - growing discography have seen him rapidly rise to the forefront of the international scene. The pair, despite being close friends and stalwarts in the Toronto electronic music scene for years, had not joined forces in the studio until only as recently as 2009, when Damian Lazarus called on them to remix Riz MC for his prestigious Crosstown Rebels Label. The result was an entirely new sound that drew cues from the best of both artists. It was a futuristic and raw, synth-driven, underground masterpiece, the start of a new idea and the birth of Art Department... KiNK Biography
Strahil Velchev a.k.a KiNK is not Josh Wink`s brother, he isn`t Aphex Twin`s room mate and definetly not Larry Heard`s son. He is simply an innovative, uncompromising producer and captivating DJ / live performer from Bulgaria, who incorporates the best examples of the underground dance music in his production.
At the age of 12 – jumping up & down to acid, techno and early rave tracks; at 20 – his touch with the fist modular software synthesizer and couple of years later – his first vinyl release. Depending on whom you ask, Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist, a bandleader. He co-founded both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He's had remixes commissioned by The XX, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Spoon, Hot Chip, The Postal Service, and Chemical Brothers; he's made mixes for the Fabric mix series and Get Physical's Body Language. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none—and he's just hitting his stride.
Matthew Dear's 2003 full-length Ghostly debut, Leave Luck to Heaven, is a suite of sparse, wickedly funky house laced with Dear's deep, distinctive vocals, and includes the much-loved single "Dog Days" (voted one of Pitchfork's Top 100 Songs of the Decade). The record was met with rapturous acclaim from both the dance-music establishment and the critical press, including a four-star review in Rolling Stone. Chris Liebing Biography
Chris Liebing (born Christopher Liebing on 11 December 1968 in Gießen, Hesse, Germany) is a techno DJ, music producer, radio host and founder of the record label CLR. Chris Liebing is also a vegan and promotes the benefits of veganism publicly.
In the early 1990s Liebing became active on the Frankfurt dance music scene. He opened the Spinclub techno club in 1994, and worked at Eye Q Records in Frankfurt. He formed his first label, 'Audio' in 1996, which was followed in 1999 by CLR.
In 2004 he released the philosophy-themed Evolution, which took two years to make. The album was described by CMJ New Music Report as "a techno album to go to war with".
In 2005 he worked with Speedy J on the Collabs 3000: Metalism album, released by Novamute. The album was described by Billboard as "one of the year's best collections of original electronic music".
He has also collaborated with Umek, Tommy Four Seven and Green Velvet.
In 2009, he launched the CLR Podcast, which was made available every Monday via iTunes and CLR's own website. The podcast was voiced by Liebing and featured guest mixes from a wide variety of techno DJs. Amongst the more notable guests was Depeche Mode's Martin Gore. The podcast ran weekly until 2015 when the 315th and final episode was broadcast. It was replaced by a new weekly podcast entitled am/fm, which features only mixes and live recordings by Chris Liebing himself.
Chris tours extensively throughout the world appearing at some of the biggest and most influential clubs and events in the world, such as Space and Amnesia in Ibiza, and Fabric in London, and large festivals such as Time Warp.

Nicole Moudaber is a Nigerian music producer and DJ born in Nigeria, raised there and moved to London after graduating from Richmond College with Social Sciences BS degree. In 2009, Carl Cox described her as "the most underrated DJ" to DJ Magazine, which helped to launch her career. Her 2013 debut album Believe was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house, and deep house charts. Moudaber has teamed with techno notables such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, etc. and she also launched MOOD Records imprint in 2012.

While living in Lebanon, Moudaber was one of the first people to bring dance music to Beirut. After the war in 1996 her "Trashy Renaissance" party in Beirut was the first rave event of its kind and prompted her to bring out international DJs, including Paul Van Dyk and Anthony Pappa for the first time to the Middle East. Moudaber describes her first party as: "I threw [it] in the middle of Beirut city was in the vicinity of a mosque and a cathedral, it was meant to defy the notion of hatred and prove we can do it together (the new generation) through music. It was a total success."
One of Moudaber's all-inclusive electronic music parties was detailed in the media and resulted in her being summoned by the police:
"At the time Syrians were heavily involved in Lebanon and I had started putting on parties. One happened to be around Halloween and as a result, all the gays took advantage and came dressed up as drag queens and other outrageous stuff—all in the name of fun. It turned out that undercover journalists were scouting the party. They took photos and it ended up being a five-page spread in the Middle Eastern equivalent of Cosmopolitan talking about homosexuality and perversion in the Middle East—my party being heavily featured within this article. Five months down the line I was asked to go down to the police station because the authorities had some questions for me. When I got down there, they were treating me like a terrorist, asking me all sorts of questions about my affiliation with homosexual people and whether I had seen them doing things. It was a really sad and outrageous situation, but luckily I had connections and therefore didn't stay long. It was enough to persuade me that I was wasting my time out there and that these people would never get that sense of ritual and community I was trying to bring within these events, so I very much stuck to London and Europe from there onwards."

PACO OSUNA was born in Barcelona. His passion for music started out when he was very young,at the tender age of 14 he was part of a regular crowd at Studio 54, where the most carismatic dj, Raul Orellana, was spinning Acid House, marking Paco in the way of understanding djing. In '94 Paco moved to Valencia where he had his frist contact with the decks as a hobby. In '95 Paco made his first dj set as a profesional at the ACTV club, where he gained a year residency. After that, he started playing in many different clubs including Heaven and Universal. In the meanwhile he worked in a record shop, where he got access to a recording studio in wich he produced three singles for the label Lucas Records. In '99 he got a residency at Amnesia in Ibiza. Amnesia was also the place where Paco got in touch with the person who most influenced his future as much personally as professionally, Sven Väth, who soon discoverd Paco to be very talented and introduced him in his Cocoon Booking agency. Paco was the frist Spanish dj to play for this prestigious agency. In 2001 Paco decided to leave house music moving closer to techno. Josh Wink (born Joshua Winkelman in 1970) is an electronic music DJ, label owner, producer, remixer, and artist. He is a native of Philadelphia, United States. The New Year has provided significant opportunities for Golf Clap's members Hugh Cleal and Bryan Jones.
