    Amy Winehouse prepares for triumphant return

    British neo-soul princess Amy Winehouse is preparing to make the comeback of a lifetime, beginning with a short Brazilian tour in January. The singer, after reaching world-wide acclaim for her album Back To Black, fell from grace in a blindingly fast downward spiral of drug addiction. She has seemingly cleaned herself up, and is poised to make her return.

    Original Pulp lineup to reunite, tour

    Legendary brit-poppers Pulp have announced that their original lineup, who haven't shared the stage since 1996, will be reuniting to tour. Announced via their Facebook page with details being sketchy at best thus far, the Sheffield group revealed they will be performing at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and London's Wireless Fest. Further tour dates are expected to be announced soon.

    Lil' Wayne released from prison

    Superstar rapper Lil' Wayne was released from Rikers Island Prison after an 8 month stint for weapons charges. During a 3 year probational period, he has been ordered to stay drug and alcohol free, even though none of the charges that landed him in jail had anything to do with either.

    Prince announces "Welcome 2 America" concert series

    The almighty purple one, Prince, announced upcoming dates and locations for his Welcome 2 America concert series while on-stage at the historic Apollo Theater.

    While the full details of the series, and whether it will end up being a full tour, are still a mystery, he did announce a myriad of performers that will be appearing at the dates that have already been announced. Recent R&B sensation (who is clearly influenced by Prince himself) Janelle Monae being the most notable of the guests, as well as several of past "Prince Girls", including Sheila E. and Apollonia. Prince will also be performing with his band, The New Power Generation.

    Aphex Twin has 6 albums ready for release

    Godfather of glitch-techno Aphex Twin reportedly has 6 full-length albums already completed and ready for release. However, being the reclusive, mysterious man he is, there is no sign of a release date for any of the material, nor does anyone know how much, if any, will be released.

    Richard D. James came back into the spotlight last month when he teamed up with underground rappers mysteriously turned viral superstars Die_Antwoord at the L.E.D. Festival in the UK for a live set.

    Weezer announces "Memories Tour"

    It seems the whole "our older albums were better so we're touring with those" bug has taken hold of yet another band. Following cues from A Perfect Circle, Weezer have announced they will be playing two dates in each city on their upcoming Memories Tour. The first night will be a performance of their seminal self-titled debut, also known as The Blue Album, and the following night will be the cult-classic Pinkerton. Accompanying them on different legs of the tour will be Best Coast and Free Energy.

    Scissor Sisters cancel upcoming European dates

    International queer pop sensations Scissor Sisters have been forced to cancel all of their upcoming mainland European dates due to "funding issues". The group did not comment further, but did state that their upcoming arena tour of the U.K. would not be affected. Refunds will be issued from point of purchase.
