First album from Hole in 12 years released today
After numerous hiatuses, media feuds, and overall trainwreckery, Courtney Love and Co. are back with their first offering in 12 years since Celebrity Skin, entitled Nobody's Daughter. Weathering everything from celebrity breakups, intense media scrutiny, and child custody battles, it would seem this record would be torn straight from the headlines of the life of Courtney Love herself. You'd be right.
Exploring such topics such as abandonment from parents (the title track), drugs (Loser Dust), and money problems (Never Go Hungry), the album reads like a summary of Love's life for the last several years. Hole will be embarking on a tour (with an all-new lineup supporting Ms. Love) to support the album this spring and summer.Get tickets for Hole shows

Secret Cities: throwback while looking forward
Heavily influenced by the 60's Beach Boys sound, Secret Cities (formerly known as White Foliage) hail from Fargo, North Dakota. Mixing Brian Wilson's seminal sound with other elements of pop, psychedelia, and more modern electro, Secret Cities makes a precariously seamless blend of multiple styles.
A chance meeting with their main influence, Mr. Brian Wilson himself, heavily guided the direction of their debut album, Pink Graffiti. With a full tour calendar on the horizon, it's very possible this could be the next "it" band. Not so secret anymore
Die Antwoord: Overnight Sensation
Die Antwoord came to worldwide prominence almost overnight with their delightfully odd YouTube video for their song Enter The Ninja. With completely insane imagery and a ridiculous back story to boot, Die Antwoord have already scored meetings with David Lynch, a deal with Interscope Records, and a slot at this year's Coachella Music Festival.
Consisting of Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek, Die Antwoord are part of a genre of South-African hip-hop known as Zef Rap (the South African equivalent of White Trash). Ninja has been a prominent member of the South African hip-hop community for years, undertaking different stage personas with every project.
