Trent Reznor set to release score for "The Social Network"
The upcoming movie about the creation of Facebook, The Social Network, has been entirely scored by Trent Reznor. Directed by David Fincher, written by Aaron Sorkin, the movie peers into the beginnings of Facebook. Reznor initially had reservations about scoring the film, citing both the content of the movie and exhaustion from coming off of 2 years of touring. A Perfect Circle announce first tour in 6 years
The boys from A Perfect Circle are back with a vengeance. They just announced a short-run small venue tour on the west coast, in what some are speculating to be a precursor to a new album and following national tour.

In an essay written by Radiohead bass player Colin Greenwood for UK organization Index On Censorship, it is revealed that the band has wrapped up recording on their new album. Greenwood also discussed that they are looking at different release options, in what they say is a "digital landscape that has changed yet again".
