Das Racist: Genius or have they come to destroy music?
Rooted in tongue in cheek humor and existential societal commentary, the boys in Das Racist appear to just be another dumb club rap group from the outside. However, you'd be wrong in assuming this. Comprizing of Himanshu Suri and Victor Vazquez, these highly-educated young men use their stripped down approach to, quite literally, make social commentary by prolonging the very stereotypes and foibles they sing about.Das Racist on ThrillCall

First album from Hole in 12 years released today
After numerous hiatuses, media feuds, and overall trainwreckery, Courtney Love and Co. are back with their first offering in 12 years since Celebrity Skin, entitled Nobody's Daughter. Weathering everything from celebrity breakups, intense media scrutiny, and child custody battles, it would seem this record would be torn straight from the headlines of the life of Courtney Love herself. You'd be right.
Exploring such topics such as abandonment from parents (the title track), drugs (Loser Dust), and money problems (Never Go Hungry), the album reads like a summary of Love's life for the last several years. Hole will be embarking on a tour (with an all-new lineup supporting Ms. Love) to support the album this spring and summer.Get tickets for Hole shows
