    Freedom Concerts under fraud investigation

Sean Hannity, well-known conservative right-wing newscaster for FoxNews, is reportedly under fire amidst accusations of fraud with his nationwide "Freedom Concerts". These concerts were to be fundraising events for charity, but Hannity and co. have allegedly been keeping most of the money made from the shows (including using a large portion of the proceeds for expensive travel and hotels.

Originally accused of these fraudulent by conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel, the D.C. watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and Internal Revenue Service for engaging in "illegal and deceptive marketing practices".

The group promoting these concerts was to donate the proceeds to the Freedom Alliance scholarship fund, while maintaining a charitable organization tax status. Owens attributes much of Girls' style to his shelter from pop culture while being raised in the Children Of God cult. Well, that and heavy drug use, which is a topic of much conversation from the recording of their debut album. Owens has recently remarked that this is now just an occasional occurrence.
