Houston Arena Theatre Description

The Arena Theatre is one of Houston’s oldest and most successful concert venues. When you come to the Arena Theatre, you don’t come to see a show, you come to experience it. Because of its unique design, this theatre in the round provides guests with an intimate evening with their favorite entertainer. Arena Theatre has proudly presented many legendary artists such as Willie Nelson, BB King, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin and Smokey Robinson.

With no seat more than sixty feet from the stage you feel like you are part of the show, not just part of the audience. This intimate setting, unique to the Arena Theatre only, lets you feel like you get to know your favorite star a little better.

I left feeling "What the h*ll". My Husband paid $200.00 for our tickets, $10.00 to park. I heard none of the songs that made me her fan. No Tyrone, No Bag Lady, No That Hump, No Gone Baby Don't be Long and only one minute of Window Seat. She song all the songs that I fast forward on her CD's. She song a lot of other artist's songs. Wasted time and energy in which she could have song her own song, songs that made us become her fans. I did not care for her opening act. It just seemed cheap and cheesy. At $75.00 to $100.00 a ticket, during these current times that we are living now. She could have gotten someone with more drawing power. She could have spent more money on a better opening act. This act just seemed cheesy, a college talent show venue at best. I will continue to support her work, by buying her CD's and enjoy them, however, I will never go to her concert again.
