Reviews of Live Music at Portland Center for the Performing Arts

Rose reviewed: Melissa Etheridge @ Portland Center for the Performing Arts

I am always in awe, everytime I am fortunate enough to see this dynamic woman preform! All four times and she is so powerful, and her words/music just reach in and become a piece of my strength, joy, and soul. I cannot imagine how she must have felt, while on her "LUCKY TOUR". To receive the diagnosis of cancer! I Know so many of the people in the audience would not have believed that this powerhouse of a performer, was facing some dark, and painful days! She gives one thousand percent while she is on stage, and I am looking forward to her "4th Street Feeling Tour"! If I have to walk, I want to be there!

We saw Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt in Portland last fall - they did alternating solos. Lyle was fantastic on Natural Forces and John equally fantastic on Crossing Muddy Waters. James Konopasek
